Sleep [Sunday, May 12, 2002 07:22 p.m.]
Sleep is becoming such a friend to me right now that it's crazy. After I came home from work I went to sleep and pretty much slept until lunch. Then after lunch I slept some more until I had to get up for work. And I'm sleepy now especially after I got out of the shower.

Damn...Cait is wondering if I have mono. But honestly, who could I possibly get mono from?! --;

I was supposed to get my prom dress today, but the mall was closing by the time mama got home...so we're probably gonna hit it up tomorrow or something. I hope my dress isn't taken...stupid Jessica McClintock's only holds dresses for a day....>=T

Research [Thursday, May 9, 2002 10:14 p.m.]
I really should do research before I spread the word about anything.

Rammier sent me this thing about some virus, and that it was on my computer; luckily, I'm on a Mac, so I didn't have to worry about it because it couldn't open that file extension. Anyway, I sent the warning to a bunch of other friends.

However, I did some research about the virus and I found out that it was a hoax. So now some of my friends may be missing a perfectly benign system file. --;

I really should keep my mouth shut and research before I spread the word. I guess my fear of getting a virus got the better of me. =T

Project Graduation [Tuesday, May 7, 2002 06:35 p.m.]
Mike came into homeroom today and called for the senior class to unite for Project Graduation. See, it was supposed to be on the 25th of June, and we were supposed to go to FDU. However, the geniuses at the board of education moved it to the 21st, and now Project Graduation is at the Summit Y. Come on people. We go there to work out. So this morning I signed a petition for the administration to move the thing back to where it was.

Another thing that pisses me off is that a lot of people have already made plans due to graduation. Some people would have to reschedule flights and other accomodations so that they will be able to attend the graduation. AND THE INCUBUS CONCERT!!!!...

And in the case of the teachers, I found out a lot of them are requesting transfers to another school district. Is our school that bad? Unfortunately, yes. Our student ideal is that "if it's too hard, then we'll have to whine about it until we get our way." Second grade much? And much to my dismay, I found out that 25% of the senior class last year dropped out of college because they could not handle it. High school is supposed to prepare you for college...but apparently mine isn't doing that.

Thesis [Monday, May 6, 2002 10:45 p.m.]
Got about half of my thesis paper done. WHOOHOO! And it didn't take me very long to write either. heh I just have to make sure it sounds okay before I turn it in. ^^;

The funny thing right now is that I'm not feeling stressed about anything at all. Just a weird calmness. Even with the prom. Sure, my date is a little tentative right now...but I'm not worried. And yeah, my thesis paper is due in two days or so, but I don't really mind that either. How strange, y'know?

And I dunno why I'm thinking this, but I have a feeling some of my friends are being rather...aloof. I dunno why either...it makes me wonder if I did something wrong to aggravate them or something. --;

It's amazing to think how far everyone's come. Everyone's changed so much...and I'd have to say that for the most part it's for the better. Everyone's finding themselves and growing up, more or less.

BLARGH Project Graduation is being moved to the Summit Y...what the fuck. I don't care if graduation is early, I want a fun Project Graduation. WE ONLY GET ONE! I wish I could've gone to that PTA meeting, but I had my thesis to write...I hope something changes. If anything, our voices are being heard. Or we're just making some really loud noises. Yeah.

Whoo I've got a new layout to this thing finally. Which means that I have to change the layout to my main site...so much work, so little time. @__@

Speaking of work, I really should work on my thesis paper right now, so I'll leave it at this.
